Can’t remember how long I was back for after the Con before I got sick of the inaccuracies in the helmet and started working on it again, but I did. I can’t be sure but it might have been in September of ’08? ‘Geddon was in April from memory.

Yanked this off my old LiveJournal account (that I don’t use anymore) because it saves me having to write it all up again 
Started out pretty basic and standard really, just your ordinary pepakura model. I should point out right away that this was my version, but wasn’t modeled by me but rather a game mesh from the Halo 3 Beta. People often get confused and think I modeled it (and credit me as such)
This was a commission I did a while back for someone, it’s not really one version of Thor’s helmet but rather a hybrid of two or three different designs. I can find one of the references any more but it was partly based on an animated version of the helmet and one of the Sideshow busts (there was a little of the movie helmet thrown in too)

I didn’t get many photos of the real early stages of this one but it’s pretty much the same as Marcy was, the only real difference being the pose. The pose being a source of much annoyance later on…

I thought I’d start with one of my more recent projects (or rather one of my more recent projects that I’ve actually finished), which was a mini version of the Katamari cousin, Marcy, from the Katamari series of games.
